The verification standard depends on the nature and sensitivity of the request.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require the agent to verify their own identity. We may also contact you directly to confirm that you have authorized the request.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the duration of any attorney-client relationship and for the period required by applicable rules of professional conduct, statutes of limitations, and legitimate business needs. Inquiries from prospective clients that do not result in an engagement are retained for the period necessary to perform conflicts checks and to defend against any claim arising from the inquiry, after which the information is deleted or de-identified consistent with this Privacy Policy.
